The combination of pinkie pie that adds a hysterically random element of.... pinkie pie with apple jack's down-to-earth fundamentalist nature is a perfect catalyst for the message you're conveying.
You're fantastic use of pinkie's wizard hat and well selected (probably some of the best I've seen) facial expressions add to the impact significantly.
The joke selection (though I'd usually deem this irrelevant when critiquing) was quite funny and is really suited to a pony like pinkie pie, which gives a quite profound sense of authenticity that is also applicable to AJ's silent response. Which shows great and meaningful vision.
The means of which many of the facial expressions were articulated were not only well chosen but really well done, the emphasized enthusiasm or shock and suspiciousness. I'd Just have to say I loved it and really adds to your technique as well as impact.
Being a follower of EQD and other projects on this website, I've seen quite a few works that are not dissimilar to this. Though not completely original in concept the whole feel to the artwork has been something very unique and hysterical.
Honestly, trying to criticise this piece of work for constructive reasons is really hard, whys that? Hypothetically, if you released another said work that was executed as well as this I'd be really satisfied with it, in other words it's far to good for the likes of me to know where to say it needs much improvement.
